Summer on the Mag, organised by St Mary Magdalene Church, will take place on Saturday 13th June from 1pm to 5pm and promises something for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy family rides and activities, live music from local performers, refreshments and a chance to spend time together with neighbours and friends. This year will also see the return of the much-loved animal experience from Pakefield Pastures Mobile Care Farm, giving families the opportunity to meet a variety of animals, pet some furry friends and even walk an alpaca.
The event is open to everyone and aims to provide an accessible, welcoming space where local families can enjoy the start of summer together. As part of the day, visitors will also be invited to bring along a tin or other non-perishable food item for Gorleston Foodbank if they are able to do so, helping support local people facing hardship. Donations are entirely voluntary, but organisers hope the festival will be an opportunity not only to celebrate community, but also to care for neighbours in need.
Entry to the event is free.
