Spend a year that makes a difference
Are you aged 18-29 and wondering about what’s next?
What if you could spend a year growing in faith, serving others, building valuable skills and exploring God’s call on your life?
The Ministry Experience Scheme with the Diocese of Norwich offers an opportunity to dedicate a year to God while becoming part of a parish church community.
Whether you’re considering ministry, taking a gap year or exploring your vocation, MES provides the time, support and experience to help you discern the next step.
As part of the Ministry Experience Scheme, you’ll:
- Be immersed in the life of a local parish church
- Explore mission and ministry in real-world settings
- Receive support, encouragement and mentoring throughout the year
- Develop practical and transferable skills
- Help lead projects and initiatives that make a difference in local communities
- Grow in confidence, faith and leadership
- Take time to reflect on God’s calling and purpose for your life
Every placement offers a unique experience, allowing you to discover your gifts and passions while serving alongside dedicated church leaders and volunteers.
