The Sandringham & West Newton Parochial Church Council seeks a committed and creative Director of Musical Outreach to lead and develop the musical life of our group of churches and local community. There is an intention for this role to have a specific connection with the Royal School of Church Music.

Working with the Rector, you will direct robed and unrobed choirs, support worship and liturgy, and build strong links with local schools through music. You will also develop concerts, community ensembles, and outreach initiatives that support the Church’s mission through music.

We offer an exciting opportunity to:

  • Grow a thriving choral tradition across several churches
  • Develop musical outreach, especially among children and young people
  • Establish new community ensembles and events

You will be:

  • An experienced organist (organ diploma or equivalent) and choral director
  • A committed Christian, engaged with the worship and life of the Church
  • Passionate about mission through music and inclusive participation
  • Able to inspire musicians of all ages and abilities
  • Willing to learn and share that learning with a wider audience
  • A keen team player

Full-time (35 hours), including weekends and festivals. Subject to Safer Recruitment and Royal Household vetting.
