Sixteen men and women were ordained this weekend to serve in parishes across Norfolk and Waveney.
At packed and joyful services in Norwich Cathedral the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher ordained seven new priests on Saturday June 27 and eight new deacons on Sunday June 28, with one priest ordained at All Saints Church in South Lynn.
The Cathedral ordinations were also attended by the Bishops of Thetford and Lynn, the Dean of Norwich, archdeacons, the diocese director of mission and ministry and the diocese director of ordinands, many more clergy from the across the diocese and further afield, and lots of friends and family of the new priests and deacons.
The Revd Dr Victorian Johnson, Dean of Chapel at St John’s College, Cambridge, and ordination retreat conductor, preached at both services.
The newly-ordained priests are:
Revd Karen Gower who is serving in the Dersingham Benefice.
Revd Dan Krawczyk who is serving in the North Walsham Benefice.
Revd Hannah Morris who is serving in the Flegg Parish Churches.
Revd Michael Newey who is serving in the Dereham and District Team Ministry.
Revd Carolyn Sexton who is serving in the Briston and Briningham Benefice
Revd Lucy Stone who is serving in the Mitre Benefice.
Revd Gaynor Sutton who is serving in the Caister Benefice.
Revd Ben Almond who is serving in the South and West Lynn Benefice and was ordained by the Bishop of Richborough.

The new deacons are:
Revd Jessica Bannister who will serve in the Old Catton Benefice.
Revd Gillian Barker who will serve in the Heartsease Benefice.
Revd Sarah Clarke who will serve at St Stephen, Norwich.
Revd Lorraine Light who will serve in the Pakefield Benefice.
Revd Eleanor Morrison who will serve in the Gaywood Benefice.
Revd Sam Ruddock who will serve in the Wymondham Benefice.
Revd Bassem Sawieres who will serve in the Watton Benefice.
Revd Tom Stockwell who will serve in the Attleborough with Besthorpe Benefice.
