The new 2018 Real Easter Egg has just been released and is now available to buy. Each egg comes with the story of Easter inside. Large milk or dark chocolate eggs include an Easter story book which covers the final week of Jesus’ life. Their egg hunt and sharing boxes come with a cross shaped activity booklet which also includes the Easter story.
Founded in Manchester, Meaningful Chocolate not only makes Fairtrade Easter eggs but is also well known for making various other seasonal goods and chocolate bars. All their products are Fairtrade which means farmers receive a fair price for their produce and their chocolate contains no palm oil.
A recent survey found that fewer than half of people below the age of 50 associate Easter with Jesus Christ. Buying and giving The Real Easter egg offers an ideal opportunity to share the gospel story.
David Marshall, from The Meaningful Chocolate Company, said;
“It was quite a surprise to discover that nearly 60% of under 24 year olds do not connect Jesus with Easter. There’s an opportunity for those over 50 to buy a Real Easter Egg and pass on knowledge of the festival to younger parents and grandchildren. We hope to distribute 250,000 stories with our eggs and reach more than a million people.”
The Real Easter Egg is available from www.realeasteregg.co.uk in larger branches of Tesco, ASDA, Waitrose, Morrisons and independent retailers.
