Congratulations to our new Licensed Lay Ministers who were licensed on Saturday 19th September at Norwich Cathedral.
Jo, Phil, Toby, Cheryl, James and Tim have all answered a vocational call to become LLMs in Norfolk and Waveney.
At the service, the Bishop of Norwich spoke to the congregation saying: “I invite you to consider what is God calling you to? Deeper discipleship? Joining a church? Finding out more about Jesus?”
Helen Grogutt, the Bishop’s Adviser for Licensed Lay Ministry and an LLM herself gave the sermon. Helen said: “We are all called to be messengers of peace and of hope.”

- Celia Donald, serving in Flegg Parish Churches Team Ministry Benefice in the Deanery of Great Yarmouth
- Jean Archdeacon, serving in Dickleburgh and the Pulhams.
During the service, special thanks were made to celebrate significant anniversaries of admission as Licensed Lay Ministers.

- Peter Worby serving 40 years in Swardeston
- Tim Harle, serving 35 years in Cringleford
- Joy Smith, serving 35 years in Gayton, Grimston, Massingham and Team District Ministry
- Alan Cranshaw, serving 25 years in Dersingham, Anmer, Ingoldisthorpe and Sherborne
- Andy Mash, serving 25 years in Swaffham and Sporle
- Alison McTaggart, serving 25 years in Flegg Group, Martham
- Kevin Mitchelson, serving 25 years in Colegate and Tombland, Norwich
- Pauline Simpson, serving 25 years in the United Benefice of St Benedict
