As a student of ASHS, Georgia spent many hours developing her love of music. This went beyond the classroom, to a number of events; including the Diocese of Norwich tent at the Royal Norfolk show one year.
Georgia left ASHS in 2016 where she went on to pursue her love of music at the Royal School of military music, where she was put through her paces and trained further in her craft. After two years of army training, (6 months at Harrogate and 18 months at The Royal School of military music) Georgia is now fully qualified and posted to The Band of the Coldstream Guards in London, one of the oldest and most well-known bands in the British Army. Her first engagement was the state opening of parliament on Monday 14 October.
Georgia’s parents have said:
“We are immensely proud of what Georgia, has achieved and are bursting with excitement for her future and our many trips to London watching the changing of the guard, Beating the Retreat and Trooping the Colour to name just a few.”
Her old teachers at ASHS are equally proud and excited to see Georgia continue in her success – a wish they convey upon all students who pass through the doors of ASHS.
