Bishop Graham will be moving to the Diocese in the summer and be formally welcomed at his enthronement service in Norwich Cathedral in the autumn.
During an act of worship held yesterday at the Church of St Mary-le-Bow in Cheapside, London, the legal process was completed.
During the service, the Archbishop’s Vicar General, sitting as a court of law, has to decide on behalf of the Archbishop of Canterbury whether the procedural steps have been properly carried out so that the election of the new diocesan bishop can be confirmed.
Various proceedings then followed, including where the bishop took oaths of allegiance, and the legal functions of office then became vested in the new bishop following the conclusion of proceedings.
A few photos following the service can be seen below and with thanks from various photographers.
