The School Buildings Team provide support to schools in matters relating to their capital funding, and school premises. We can draw on advice from architectural, property, and legal professionals to provide the best possible advice to schools. This support is offered to Voluntary Aided and Voluntary Controlled schools, academies should seek advice from their Multi Academy Trust.
Voluntary Aided schools usually access their Devolved Formula Capital (DFC) through the Diocese of Norwich Pooling Scheme. Please see the DFC Project Form below to set up a project.
The Diocese of Norwich and Diocese of Ipswich and St Edmundsbury share a School Capital Allocation (SCA). SCA bidding forms are available year round, but the main bidding round runs from 1st July – 31st October, for projects commencing the following April. The annual SCA allocation is managed by the Diocese School Estates and Capital Funding (SECF) Committee. Please refer to the Prioritisation of SCA projects form for guidance on projects that are likely to be funded.
We offer introductory training for new staff, covering a range of subjects, many of which are listed below.
