We are a geographically fan-shaped benefice of 10 parishes in the south of the Diocese of Norwich. These parishes vary in size, but all see their Church as a vibrant part of the community and have long-standing links with each other.
You will have the support of the ministry team (Authorised Worship Assistants and retired clergy) and a committed team of churchwardens.
Our Vision
To enable people across our Team to come to know God and His unconditional love, as revealed through His Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We are looking for a Rector-designate who will help us achieve our Vision by:
• lively preaching and teaching, relevant to daily life
• being comfortable with both the Prayer Book and Common Worship
• praying, with us and for us, and encouraging and developing pastoral care
• understanding the challenges of rural settings, including the upkeep of ancient buildings
• growing and encouraging links with our communities – our local schools, families, and young people
• looking with fresh eyes to discern how we might do some things better
• being ready to learn from others, having fun and enjoying the company of others
To apply, please download and complete the application form and confidential declaration form and return them to Graham Cossey by email (graham.cossey@dioceseofnorwich.org) with original signatures please.
