Salary: £7,689 pa (pro rata of £26,912)
We are looking for a proactive and creative Communications Assistant who can help us to maintain our digital platforms and support churches in sharing their stories. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for crafting engaging content. You’ll support the delivery of internal and external communications, helping to strengthen our brand and ensure consistent, high‑quality messaging across all channels.
At 10 hours a week, this role may suit:
- A Communications freelancer who is looking for a stable amount of hours per week.
- A person who is returning to a Communications career and looking for flexibility.
- A person who is looking to work less hours and looking for flexibility.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong IT skills
- Knowledge and experience of using WordPress, Facebook and Instagram
- Experience using Canva
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Good research skills
- Good data collection skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of the Church of England or desire to learn more.
- Ability to provide a positive and collaborative contribution to a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
