A new series of videos will be shared throughout Advent, featuring timely missional tips from clergy and lay members of churches from across Norfolk and Waveney – all with the goal of making events and spaces feel welcoming during the festive season.
The first video in this campaign features Revd David Longe and Dr Jane McLarty, Rector and Lay Minister respectively for the Matlaske Benefice, who share their perspectives on reaching out to people of all ages and backgrounds at this time of year.
The pair discuss the opportunities and challenges of multi-parish ministry when attempting to deliver an inclusive offer of services and events to communities with a range of interests and preferences.
Following on from this first instalment, videos will be posted to the Advent and Christmas 2025 YouTube playlist – including a Missional Reflection each week beginning on Advent Sunday.
