This page contains details of faculty applications currently being made in the Diocese of Norwich. These applications relate to proposed works of repair, improvement or reordering at churches and churchyards within the Diocese. Details of proposals in relation to a specific church are normally available for inspection at the church itself if you would like more information.
Please select your the proposed works that you are interested in viewing:

|Litcham All Saints||An application is being made to the consistory court for permission to carry out the following works to the church: To install an interpretation board in the churchyard which gives details of the wildlife that can be found there.||25/07/19||24/08/19||View|
The works will also be advertised on a public notice board at the church, which may provide an extended period for comments to be made.
The next stage in the process of applying for a faculty to authorise the works will be for the Parochial Church Council to submit a faculty petition to the Registrar's office. That petition, together with advice from the Diocesan Advisory Committee and other statutory consultees, such as English Heritage, will then be passed to the Chancellor for a decision to be made.
The Chancellor may decide to authorise the grant of a faculty, but this is usually subject to appropriate conditions, reflecting the advice and consultations which she will have taken into account. She will of course also take into account any representations made about the proposals by any other interested parties.
Thank you for your interest in helping to preserve some of the most important listed buildings within the Diocese.
