This lovely and interesting perpendicular Grade I church has many surviving original features. These include significant medieval wall paintings, old benches with traceried backs, carved bench ends, a three decker pulpit and an interesting crypt which was once used to accommodate prisoners overnight on the long journey from King’s Lynn assizes to the gallows in Norwich. The crypt has been recently repaired and is open to visitors to explore. Richard Taverner who translated the Bible into English was born in Brisley.

The bespoke nave lighting was made by local craftsmen.
