Chrism Eucharist

Holy oils, to be used across the diocese in baptisms, confirmations, ordinations and to anoint the sick and dying, were blessed at The Chrism Eucharist in Norwich Cathedral today (Monday March 30.)

The annual service also included a reaffirmation of commitment with ministers, deacons, priests and bishops all committing themselves anew to their calling.

The bishops of Norwich, Thetford and Lynn took part in the service with priests and lay ministers from across the diocese, and the sermon was preached by the Dean of Norwich, the Very Revd Dr Andrew Braddock.
