We are following a careful and structured process to help us listen to God’s voice and the experiences of people all across Norfolk and Waveney as we seek to be Transformed by Christ: Prayerful, Pastoral, Prophetic.
The strategy process is in six stages. We have spent time developing and understanding the core vision. We have tried to understand what is happening in the diocese and in our churches and communities through conversation and the use of the data churches provide every year. And now we are finishing off that stage and beginning the third phase, which is to gather ideas about what we can do and what we can do differently as we seek to set our sails to catch the wind of God’s Holy Spirit.
We are excited that you are going to be able to add your voice, insight and experience to what is already turning into a rich and varied conversation.
On the 10th and 12th June, we ran two online conversations that were publicised across the Diocese. If you came to one of these, then thank you for your input. You have already seen the videos and information below.

Prayer is the one thing which will make the biggest difference to the life and flourishing of the Church in Norfolk and Waveney in the months and years ahead. We are praying for the strategy across the whole diocese every Tuesday morning. You are welcome to join us.

We need to pray to listen to what God is saying, to tune ourselves into the longing of his heart. We need to pray that God will call more and more labourers into the vineyard. We need to pray to be part of local churches which are as warm and welcoming as we hope they are. We need to pray for all those whose hearts God is preparing even now. We need to pray that we will be Transformed by Christ and that every part of God’s church in this Diocese will be too.
