Priest in Charge and Associate Priest (half-time) – The Lowestoft St Andrew and Kirkley benefices (two posts)

We are seeking two priests to lead, love, and serve the benefices of Lowestoft St Andrew and St Peter and St John Kirkley.

Lowestoft is Britain’s most easterly town, known for its wide sandy beaches, restored seafront, and growing reputation as a centre for renewable energy and coastal regeneration.

We would love to hear from you if you feel that God might be calling you to one of these roles in this beautiful part of the country.

We pray for priests who will be a visible and faithful presence in both the churches and community.

Specifically, we are praying for priests that will:

• Be prayerful in discerning God’s leading
• Foster positive relationships between the parishes outside to our communities
• Be able to relate to people of all ages and abilities
• Help us grow in our understanding of God’s word.
• Inspire us and work with us to reach out with the love and good news of Jesus.

To apply, please download and complete the relevant application form and confidential declaration form and return them to Graham Cossey by email (graham.cossey@dioceseofnorwich.org), with original signatures please.

For an informal conversation about these posts, please contact The Rt Revd Ian Bishop, Bishop of Thetford on 07715 102519 or email bishop.thetford@dioceseofnorwich.org.
