Inspectors rated “Personal development, behaviour and welfare” as ‘Outstanding’ and highlighted that “the school’s values are lived and breathed by pupils and staff…” and “pupils show respect for adults and for each other at all times.”

One pupil said: “It’s actually a really good school. It’s the best in England! They explain everything to you and the teachers are the nicest too.”

One parent commented: “The values that the children are being taught are visible in my child’s behaviour at home and throughout the school.”

Headteacher, Emma Scarisbrick said:

“This result reflects all of the hard work, not just during the Ofsted inspection, but of the last few years prior to it. Every improvement, tweak and change we have made has added together to show we are improving outcomes for our children and making a difference to them. I am extremely proud of our children, staff and governors and thank all of them for their continuing commitment to the school.”

The Academy joined the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT) in early 2015 and the report highlighted the “strong support and challenge” offered by the Trust and the effective impact this has had on school improvement.
