A full day of events for Anna Chaplains and inquirers in Norfolk and Waveney

24 February 2023

The February Anna Chaplaincy blog on the Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF) website features an update on Anna Chaplaincy in our Diocese.

At the beginning of February the Bishop of Lynn, the Rt Revd Bishop Jane Steen commissioned seven new Anna Chaplains and two Anna Friends at a service in Norwich Cathedral.

Anna Chaplains offer spiritual support to older people who are living in care homes and sheltered housing complexes, their relatives and staff who look after them. They also help to promote the spiritual welfare of older people in the wider community, particularly those facing challenges living independently.

Debbie Thrower, founder and pioneer of Anna Chaplaincy, writes a regular blog which features the Anna Chaplaincy commissioning in Norwich. You can read the full blog here.
