Church of England schools' diversity art exhibition
30 August 2022
A group of Norfolk Church of England schools developed an art exhibition celebrating diversity which has been displayed in the centre of Norwich

The school children met on Zoom throughout the pandemic to explore different expressions of diversity within the Arts.
Each school then ‘looked through the lens’ of the overarching theme of diversity to come up with their own focus for their school.
These art exhibitions were then displayed in their local churches. After that, the artwork was brought together at St Peter Mancroft church in Norwich throughout August.
Fairhaven CofE VA Primary School took part in the art exhibition.
“We thought about diversity in nature and looked at the different trees in our local environment. Every leaf on each tree is unique, just like us, and they are all equally important. We wanted to create our own unique tree that would celebrate diversity. Every child painted a leaf to represent themselves, showing how we are all different.”
