Rector-designate of the proposed parish of Diss

Posted on: Friday 13 June 2025

Roydon

Are you an inspirational, collaborative leader with a Passion for Christian Mission and Outreach, who will build on our present foundations and inspire us to move forward?

Diss is a busy and pretty Market Town situated in South Norfolk on the border with Suffolk, with many facilities to offer and excellent communication links to Norwich, London and beyond.

Our vision is to enable people of the Town and wider area to come to know God and His unconditional love, as revealed through his Son, Jesus Christ, by:

  • Ensuring a warm welcome to parishioners, community, visitors, and people of all ages
  • Through our Prayers, for them and with them
  • Being a visible witness in our Parish, practically involved in community events and projects

We seek a Priest who

  • has enthusiasm for bringing the Gospel Message alive and inspiring Church members;
  • is comfortable with both Prayer Book and Common Worship;
  • preaches in a lively, Biblical way, relevant to everyday life
  • will initiate links with families;
  • will help us to engage with the wider community;
  • is able and willing to work collaboratively and encourage the Ministry Team

Closing date: 11:59 pm Tuesday 15 July 2025

Interviews: Wednesday 6 August 2025
