The Norwich Diocesan Board of Finance (NDBF) is seeking a Director of Finance to lead our finance and IT functions at a time of exciting growth and transformation. You’ll play a pivotal role in enabling our mission and ministry across the Diocese of Norwich, supporting local churches, schools, and chaplaincies as we bring our new Vision to life.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading strategic financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Overseeing IT and data services to support effective working
- Supporting parishes with financial health and stewardship
- Advising senior leadership and governance committees
- Managing a talented team and contributing to a positive, values-driven culture
What we’re looking for
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- A strategic thinker with experience in complex financial leadership
- A collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Someone who shares our Christian ethos and values, and is excited to support the Church’s mission
