Vocal ensemble Omnia Voices presents a beautiful concert of music spanning over 400 years. The programme begins with settings of English texts by composers including Orlando Gibbons, Bob Chilcott and Eleanor Daley, before closing with a selection of familiar folk and pop melodies.
Biography:
Omnia is a group of singers drawn from semi-professional choirs in and around London. The ensemble performs repertoire ranging from sacred polyphony to close harmony arrangements of popular songs, embodying an ethos of musical variety and exploration. As well as performing regularly around the UK, Omnia has performed for audiences around the Dordogne, and looks forward to returning there later this year. This will be the group’s second tour to Norfolk and first visit to the Minster; they gave one of their very first concerts in Great Massingham in 2017, as well as performing in a number of local care settings.
