The arts leaders met monthly on Zoom during 2021 to be inspired by different speakers on ‘the arts’ and to reflect on materials from the ‘Called, Connected, Committed’ series from the Church of England. One of the schools taking part in the arts project was Worstead Church of England VA Primary school.
There are future plans for all of the work from the different schools to be displayed in a central location later in 2022.
Headteacher of Worstead Church of England VA Primary school Nick Read said: “The Worstead art gallery was an amazing event, with artwork from all four of our classes, on the theme of diversity, using the children’s book ‘Umbrella’ as its stimulus. Using the church as our exhibition space gave the show a whole new dimension and allowed parents and children to view everyone’s creativity in a very special venue.”
