Ecumenical prayer walk in Acle
20 March 2019
A clear demonstration of unity in diversity was shown recently in a recurring event of churches coming together across denominations in one Norfolk village.

Led by Methodist Minister the Revd Steve Cullis and Church of England the Vicar Revd Martin Greenland, the Norfolk village of Acle once again demonstrated its ecumenical faith when representatives of Roman Catholic, Methodist and Anglican faiths enjoyed their traditional annual prayer walk on the afternoon of Sunday 17 March.
Assembling at St Edmund’s Church for initial prayers, the group processed around the village, pausing to recite appropriate prayers at Barclays Bank, the fire station, the primary school, the social club, the medical centre and the library before finishing up with final prayers at the Methodist Chapel where refreshments were served.
