The church built of flint and freestone, was restored and extended in the Victorian period, it has a Norman font, and other interesting interior features, include early carved corbels re-used in the north aisle. An interesting memorial window with one panel dedicated to the memory of Henry Hoare of Staplehurst, Kent, a leading C19 church layman, a partner in the C.Hoare & Co, Bank. The other panel is dedicated to the Revd. William Chapman, who despite being stone deaf ministered at Colkirk for many years.
