We are planning to have fun, enjoy some cake and a drink, and hopefully learn a thing or two.
St Marks, Oulton Broad (silver award Eco Church) – are holding a Green Day on Saturday 1 June (10 – 2). Local people and groups from further afield will be highlighting their Green initiatives; from running a hedgehog haven, nurturing honey bees to raising the issue of coastal flooding. Our local MP, prospective candidates, councillors and environmental groups (such as the Christian Climate UK and Use Your Voice Lowestoft) will be in attendance.
Some issues have very serious implications – but nature’s ability to recover is amazing too. We need to have hope. Indeed there is much joy in recognising and encouraging a healthier environment for us all (nature and mankind alike). Join us to share the journey.
