Grants available for existing projects or new ventures with a missional purpose, and for the discipleship of young people.

‘Seeds for Growth’

Applications are invited for grants of up to £100 which must be match-funded by the PCC or another source.  The grant can be for an existing project or a new venture but must have a missional purpose which reaches out to those beyond the existing congregation.

Applications will be reviewed three times a year, in February, May and October at the Children and Families Task Force meetings. Please ensure that your application has been received by the first day of the months stated. Grants will be considered at the next scheduled meeting and awarded to successful applicants.

To apply, please download and complete the application form and follow the accompanying guidelines.

A church/organisation can only apply for the grant once in any 24 month period. Funding will only be given once to a particular project.

A review of how the money is spent and its impact is required within a year and an evaluation form will be sent for completion. A sample copy can be found below.

Completed forms must be submitted by email to the Children, Youth and Families department

‘Grants for Growth’ in Mission and Discipleship

Grants available for mission and discipleship amongst young people from the Diocese of Norwich.

Applications are welcome for grants which fulfil either of the following two criteria:

  1. Missional activities amongst young people – aimed at reaching out beyond the church’s current contacts to reach others with the good news of the Gospel.
  2. Enabling young people to grow in discipleship – discipleship opportunities/training formed as part of a commitment by the PCC to support young people as they grow in discipleship and leadership.

These are grants of up to £100 which must be match-funded by your PCC or another source. We encourage those applying to involve young people in the project planning and where appropriate, the application is to be made by the young people involved.
