Shared Vocation Space

The Shared Vocation Space brings together the resources to support those wanting to explore a calling towards lay or ordained public ministry in our diocese.

Are you thinking about a vocation in ordained or lay ministry?

Would you like to explore this further?

Join us for a 5 part programme of evenings spread over 5 months, starting in September 2023 and ending in January 2024.

Shared Vocations Space: What is it?

The Shared Vocations Space launched in September 2022 and brings together the resources of the Licensed Lay Ministry team, the DDO Discernment team, Vocation Mentors and Vocation Champions to support all those exploring a calling towards public licensed ministry, whether lay or ordained, in the Diocese of Norwich.

You’ll find out more about the pathways leading to Licensed Lay Ministry (LLM) and to Ordained Ministry (becoming a priest). You’ll hear vocation stories, you’ll explore some Scripture, you’ll have the chance to think about some key issues relating to each ministry, and you’ll be able to explore your questions in small groups.

By the end of the programme you will be well-placed to enter the formal selection process for either Licensed Lay Ministry or Ordained Ministry.

If you are not able to join us for all or some of the sessions (or if the programme is not currently running) you will still be able to explore your vocation.  Please get in touch with a Vocation Adviser.
