The Calendar is now available to purchase on the Church House publishing website and is accompanied by a story sheet with a short, rhyming couplet for each day of Advent, telling the Christmas story. There is also a sticker to add each day to complete the nativity scene.
In addition to the physical Calendar, each day, on the Church of England website and on the Follow the Star App there will be daily, free content to accompany the story and stickers. This will be in both written and audio form. For each day there will be a reflection, a suggested activity, and a short prayer. There are more resources coming soon online including a ‘pop up’ crib service based on the Calendar.
The calendar and accompanying resources offer a fun and educational way for children and their families to mark Advent and celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas. We hope you will use this wonderful new resource in your churches in the coming season.
