DESCRIPTION:The countdown to Christmas starts here so do come and join us for our atmospheric Carol Service. Set inside this beautiful medieval church\, there will be traditional and modern readings plus all of your favourite carols. \nSeasonal refreshments will be available after the service. \nA retirement collection for the John Aves Education Project will take place. This project provides financial support to young people from the Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee Camp enabling selected students to study at local universities.

SUMMARY:Music for Advent with Sine Nomine
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for an evening of wonderful music in a beautiful medieval church setting. Sine Nomine is a Norwich based choir comprising 25 to 30 members who sing sacred and secular music\, both accompanied and unaccompanied. The choir was formed in 1978 and its current Director of Music is Hannah Emmrich. \nThe music for the evening will include work by Handel\, Purcell and Grieg. \nRefreshments will be available at 5.30pm and the concert will start at 6pm. There will be a retiring collection in aid of church funds.

This annual event marks the rich diversity of different faiths and beliefs in our society and is an opportunity for people from different faith and belief backgrounds to come together\, connect and deepen their understanding of each other.\nThis year the national charity Faith & Belief Forum has teamed up with St. Giles-on-the-Hill to organise a Drop In at St. Giles Church for people of all faiths and beliefsWe would love it if you\, and members of your community\, would join us. \nThis will be a very informal space to meet\, share some light refreshments and find out more about each other. \nIt will hopefully provide a foundation to build on for Interfaith Week 2025.
