Be a committed Christian with a mature faith in Jesus
You will:

• Be seeking to live under the lordship of Jesus, under the authority of Scripture
• Be hungry to learn and grow, to receive training in Bible teaching and in other supporting areas
• Be ready to love and serve the last, the lost and the least
• Be passionate about discipling and teaching young Christians, supporting them in their local churches
• Have a heart for creatively reaching young people outside of the church
• Be prepared to work across denominations, nurturing fellowship for young people
• Be an enabler of others, building teams of volunteers to reach young people
• Ideally have administrative, management and online skills
• Ideally have a recognised youth work qualification

We will provide:

• Recognition of the priority of youth ministry
• Considerable experience in youth ministry and successful community mission providing an opportunity for ministry training and development
• An established programme of activities to work within and a functioning website
• A passionate team of volunteers, colleagues and trustees to work with across the local churches, with a supportive base at St Mary Magdalene Church Gorleston
• Prayerful and practical support from local churches
• Relevant training, including Bible training with Crosslands in Norwich
• Possible opportunities to serve and develop in other areas of church and community/school life, depending on interest, ability and gifting
• A permanent contract
• Salary range: £21k-24k pro-rata depending on experience plus pension contribution. Part-time or full-time hours will be considered.
