Seeking caring and experienced people to facilitate safeguarding training in the Diocese of Norwich.

The Diocese of Norwich is looking for a team of volunteers to contribute in the effective response to the current Safeguarding Learning and Development Framework, by supporting the Safeguarding Team in the facilitation of Safeguarding training, and in line with the Diocesan Safeguarding Training Strategy.

We are therefore seeking individuals from within the laity or clergy, (for example experienced Parish Safeguarding Officer, member of the clergy or serving church officer), with good pastoral and organisational skills and some experience of working with children/young people or vulnerable adults.

We take the safety of everyone within the church very seriously and expect that everyone will work within the Church safeguarding policy ‘Promoting a Safer Church’.

If you wish to have an informal conversation about the role, please contact Ruth Walker, Diocesan Safeguarding Trainer, ehgu.jnyxre@qvbprfrbsabejvpu.bet

Closing date: Friday 22 October 2021

How to apply

Please return your completed application form via email to Michele O’Keefe, PA to the Diocesan Secretary: zvpuryr.bxrrsr@qvbprfrbsabejvpu.bet
