The Heart of Norfolk benefice comprises 13 rural parishes nestled in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside, 19 miles north west of Norwich.

They are looking for a Team Vicar who will have primary responsibility for the parishes of Foulsham, Guist, Stibbard, Wood Norton and Guestwick.

You will be living in the historic village of Foulsham, which is well served by local amenities, with a community primary school, shop, pub and many community groups and activities. The market towns of Fakenham (8 miles) and Holt( 10 miles) are nearby, and there is good access to the fine city of Norwich and stunning north Norfolk coast. You will be living one mile from The Marriotts Way footpath, bridlepath and cycle route ( 26 miles) which follows the route of a disused railway line between Aylsham and Norwich.

They are praying for a priest who will

• Lead engaging and thoughtful worship for the community, using a variety of liturgy and a range of styles
• Engage with the local communities in a visible, approachable and friendly manner
• Work collaboratively with our Team Rector and ministry team
• Nurture and discern gifts and vocations to ministry, identifying appropriate training and support
• Support the priorities for Mission and Ministry identified in the Vision morning
• Foster and encourage deeper relationships with our primary schools
• Work to strengthen our identity as a benefice
