A rewarding opportunity for a priest to serve as Priest in Charge of the Wayland benefice in rural south-west Norfolk with good access to the M11/A11 and the market town of Watton.

We are looking for a priest confident in their love of God who can lead and encourage the church to grow and develop its mission to the communities it serves.

Following the successful establishment of a single worshipping congregation across six of the seven parishes, the parishes now seek to discover ways of working more closely together.

There is a particular desire to encourage and enable lay ministry and to communicate well with families living in the villages. The parishes of the Group already work well together, moving from church to church for Sunday services and collaborating in the mission and ministry.

They are aware that their new Priest will have limited time available and are committed to working with their new Priest to enable all to flourish.
