Vacancy Title: Head of School
Pay Scale: L1-L5 (£42,195 – £47,032 (depending upon experience)
Permanent & Full time
Hours per week: 32.5 hours
Term Time: 52 weeks of the year
Taking up post: Summer 2023
The Head of School position is based at one school. As an employee within a Federation, the post holder may be required to work at any of the schools.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience of a senior leadership role within a school, ideally at Deputy Head or similar level
- Has experience of driving projects forward and can demonstrate where this has happened successfully
- Uses positive behaviour management strategies
- Has a desire to enable every child to succeed regardless of the needs or abilities
- Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Is a skilled communicator and decision-maker who can lead in complex situations
- Is a good motivator
- Works under their own initiative
- Demonstrates a mature and considered approach to problem solving.
You will be supported by the Unity Federation Executive Headteacher, working within the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust.

This post will come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
