Norwich Cathedral are looking to recruit about 200 Dippy Visitor Experience Volunteers to help give a warm welcome to all of the thousands of people who are expected to visit Dippy.

Norwich Cathedral is preparing to host the Natural History Museum’s Dippy the diplodocus from 11 July until 31 October 2020 and now the search is on to find an enthusiastic team of volunteers to play a part in this prehistoric adventure!

The volunteers will help visitors engage with the Dippy on Tour exhibition and the Cathedral, run activities and assist with special events.

You don’t need to be a dinosaur expert or have previous volunteering experience to get involved. You just need to enjoy meeting people, have a friendly and helpful attitude and lots of enthusiasm!

All Visitor Experience Volunteers will be required to commit to the equivalent of four hours a week over the 16-week Dippy on Tour exhibition from 11 July to 31 October 2020. NB. There will be flexibility in the volunteers rota as we appreciate people will have lots of different commitments!
