Prayer spaces in schools

Published on 1 December 2022

Prayer Spaces can be a great way of connecting with wide range of people. They are adaptable and engaging and can be as elaborate or simple as you want to make them.

They can be planned and devised around a specific theme, season, festival or bible story as well as to fit a specific target audience, context or space. Usually a range of prayer stations/activities using different media are employed to engage a variety of learning styles and interests. Each prayer station/activity gives individuals something to reflect on, maybe something to do or make and the opportunity to make a response.
