Picture book assembly ideas
Moorlands Primary Academy have put together a list of ideas for books to use in schools.
The choices are designed to coincide with seasonal days and weeks including:
- International Literacy Day
- Recycle Week
- International Day for the Eradication of Poverty
- World Science Day
- and many more.
The object being to help young children engage with a variety of topics from a diverse range of voices.
Although originally designed for schools, this could also work well for families with young children.
