Share the wonder of Advent with those in your church and local community by organising a Posada and reflect on the journey of Mary and Joseph in preparation for Christmas.
Nativity figures of Mary and Joseph travel from home to home throughout Advent. Each host may prepare activities or celebrations to the share the Christmas story and help people to reflect on importance of Jesus’ coming. Posada often finishes with the figures arriving at the church in time for a Christmas Eve or Christmas Day service to which the whole community are invited.
