SUMMARY:A concert by the marvellous Norwegian choir\, Lardal Kantori
DESCRIPTION:A musical & visually colourful treat – this superb choir performs in national dress in the fantastic acoustics and friendly atmosphere of our lovely rural parish church. \nUnder the expert leadership of Kjell Håkerstad\, Lardal Kantori performs regularly around southern Norway. Their repertoire is huge\, ranging from Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus (which might be included in this year’s programme) to well-loved carols and ballads. Their style is relaxed and friendly but very polished. \nFor a number of years they joined us in Bergh Apton Church to herald the Advent season with songs and carols in Norwegian and English – then COVID intervened. We’re absolutely thrilled that we’ve now restored continueity and are able to welcome them back this year. \nThey’re only performing twice in England before returning to Norway\, so do join us for a very special experience. Parking is available in the grassed field adjacent to the church \nAlthough we ask for advance booking so we can anticipate numbers for seating and refreshments\, we do retain a number of tickets for on-the-door sales. DESCRIPTION:A Charity Concert in aid of Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity. \nFeaturing the London Welsh Male Voice Choir and the Waterbeach Brass. \nThe London Welsh Male Voice Choir brings a range of new music and traditional songs all in aid of the Priscilla Bacon Hospice.\nThe choir has recently performed at Westminster Cathedral\, Ely Cathedral\, Cardiff Principality Stadium and Stonehenge and will bring the unique sound of accomplished male voice choir to Norwich Cathedral for the first time since 2006.\nThe choir will be joined by Waterbeach Brass who performed with the choir in Ely to much acclaim.\nThe choir will be led by Musical Director\, Dr Edward-Rhys Harry\, and accompanist Annabel Thwaite.\nThe concert is being organised by Yare Valley Rotary Club and Rotary in Norwich. \nBook tickets below or call 01603 702281

SUMMARY:Sing Together\, Grow Together - workshops for new fathers
DESCRIPTION:Singing is a brilliant activity for you to do with your child.\nIt makes you happy\, healthy\, teaches communication skills\, coordination skills and supports brain development. \nThe Sing Together\, Grow Together project will provide music sessions for fathers of children two and under to give them ideas and examples of music to sing with their child throughout the day.
