DESCRIPTION:* look around a little-visited church that has stood north of the city centre since 1904;\n• view the old font\, the beautiful stained-glass windows and a number of old documents\, all of which originated from our sister\nchurch\, St James (now the Puppet Theatre).\n• examine photographs and maps relating to our history.\n• see the beautiful full-size reproductions of our medieval panel paintings from St James\, photographed by Paul Oliver.\n• find out about the Pockthorpe Cope\, made in 1480 and now kept in the Castle Museum; the oldest garment of its type last worn in\nthe 1970’s.\n• hear memories of long-standing parishioners and see a 1950’s cine film depicting life at St Mary Magdalene.
