DESCRIPTION:Guided tour – St Michaels & All Angels Church\, Aylsham \nAylsham Swift Group was set up to raise awareness of swifts and help secure more nest sites in their local area\, including Aylsham parish church. During this outdoor talk in the churchyard\, Aylsham Swift Group will discuss their project to install swift boxes in the church tower and how you can help swifts in your church. \nThese activities are being run as part of the Norfolk Churchyard Conservation Scheme which was established in 1981 and is run by Norfolk Wildlife Trust in collaboration with the Diocese of Norwich.\nThese sessions have been designed to support churches wishing to manage their churchyards for both people and wildlife.\nThese activities are FREE. \nBooking essential – through Eventbrite at norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk/whats-on\nFor further information visit norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk\nor email churchyards@norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk

DESCRIPTION:This event which will take place in Marsham Parish Church aims to support people in the art of living lightly on the earth. As we all make our response to the widely acknowledged climate emergency it is good to find out more about what we can do as individuals and as community. \nThere will be presentations from guest speakers throughout the day as well as information stall holders and activities for both adults and children. Everything from sustainable healthcare to composting\, from recycling to hedgehog rescue. \nRefreshments will be served throughout the day and there is also a prize draw and other fundraising activity to support the church.
