DESCRIPTION:A day for young people from families involved in church ministry in the Diocese of Norwich. \n \nWe know it can be hard when you live in a house where the adults are heavily involved in church work. Maybe you are living in a vicarage or can’t go away at weekends because they are working.  We want to help you escape for a bit\, have some fun and give you time to chat with others like you. There will be food and activities; this year we will be go-kart racing. \nWho is it for?\nIt’s for young people in school years 7 to 13 whose parents or carers are involved in church ministry\, such as clergy\, chaplains or children and youth workers. \nCost\nThere is no cost – we want to treat you!\nBooking closes midnight on 23rd March.

SUMMARY:LECTIO DIVINA - a way of being with scripture and other sacred texts
DESCRIPTION:We host a monthly group Lectio Divina session in the cathedral library\, on the SECOND FRIDAY of every month at 2.30pm. \nLectio Divina is a contemplative way of reading the Bible\, focusing on a short passage and allowing it to speak to us. The passage is read aloud\, and we may share a word or phrase that resonates with us\, but without discussion. It is a traditional Benedictine approach to the scriptures. \nOpen to all\, readings and full outline of the approach provided. SUMMARY:LECTIO DIVINA - a way of being with scripture and other sacred texts
DESCRIPTION:We host a monthly group Lectio Divina session in the cathedral library\, on the SECOND FRIDAY of every month at 2.30pm. \nLectio Divina is a contemplative way of reading the Bible\, focusing on a short passage and allowing it to speak to us. The passage is read aloud\, and we may share a word or phrase that resonates with us\, but without discussion. It is a traditional Benedictine approach to the scriptures. \nOpen to all\, readings and full outline of the approach provided. Hoe we develop and encourage our pupils to be responsible citizens of the world is a challenge at times.
