SUMMARY:LECTIO DIVINA - a way of being with scripture and other sacred texts
DESCRIPTION:We host a monthly group Lectio Divina session in the cathedral library\, on the SECOND FRIDAY of every month at 2.30pm. \nLectio Divina is a contemplative way of reading the Bible\, focusing on a short passage and allowing it to speak to us. The passage is read aloud\, and we may share a word or phrase that resonates with us\, but without discussion. It is a traditional Benedictine approach to the scriptures. \nOpen to all\, readings and full outline of the approach provided. DESCRIPTION:Online drop-in sessions are being offered by Ed Cotterill\, Net Zero Carbon Adviser and Barbara Bryant\, Environment Officer\, on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:00pm – 2:00pm via the Teams link here.\n\nCome with any queries\, questions or comments you may have about all things eco! Anyone can join in at anytime\, so discussions may ensue\, or you may have a one-to-one session. We’re going to trial it for six months from February 10\, and see how useful it’s found to be\, then decide whether or not to keep it running.
