Imogen will be explaining “The Signs of the Times” – ranging from formal sculpture and rough graffiti to wood carvings, roof bosses, wall paintings and glass of the period between c. 1100 – 1500. After tea and cake John Vigar will discuss some of the very interesting and varied “Monuments in Norfolk Churches”.
The session has been arranged by The Friends of All Saints Church, which is a treasure in itself with a large wall painting of St Christopher showing scenes from his life pre and post-conversion, as well as many other interesting Medieval architectural features.
