Come and hear two intriguing illustrated talks by renowned Medievalist lecturers - Imogen Corrigan and John Vigar.
The Friends of All Saints Church are very proud to announce an afternoon of illustrated talks inside the lovely little Medieval church of All Saints, Hemblington.
On Friday afternoon, 23 June, Imogen Corrigan will be outlining “Signs of the Times” – ranging from formal sculpture and rough graffiti to wood carvings, roof bosses, wall paintings and glass of the period between c 1100 – 1500.
The second well-known lecturer, John Vigar, will be illustrating various “Monuments in Norfolk Churches” – a thousand years of commemoration.
The number of attendees needs to be limited to 45 as the church is fairly small, so please get in touch with the Secretary of the Friends group to secure your ticket.
These are priced at just £10 per person for the whole afternoon, which will include the two talks and tea/coffee and home made cake.
The church is not so easy to find – sitting on Church Lane, off Hemblington Hall Road, Hemblington. The postcode is for the nearby Hall – NR13 4EF.
