NCCL: Intimations of the creator from the science of light
Sat 18 Nov at 10.00 am - 12.30 pm
Norwich Cathedral, Norwich, NR1 4DH
The science of light arguing for the hand of a creator
Over the past century, huge advances have been made in the science of light. Many facets of the modern understanding can yield allegorical interpretations remarkably consistent with Christian theology, in which light is a recurrent motif. Exploring these new, scientifically proven perspectives on the role of light in the physical world supports the development of new arguments for the hand of a Creator in Nature.
The session is led by David L. Andrews, Professor of Chemical Physics at the University of East Anglia. It is held in Norwich Cathedral Library.
Cost £15 for the two if both ‘Intimations of the Creator’ sessions are booked together (the other is on 24 February 2024).
