Maddermarket Theatre at the Bishop’s Garden

Sun 30 Jul at 1.00 pm - 4.30 pm

Bishops House Garden, Norwich, NR3 1SB

Come one, come all to the Maddermarket Theatre’s dramaturgical afternoon at the Bishop’s Garden.

We’re teaming up with our new partner, MensCraft, to raise money for the refurbishment and repurposing of our old workshop into a lovely new space for community health-and-wellbeing activities.

Enjoy games, activities, theatre and history in the beautiful surroundings of the Bishop of Norwich’s garden. Find out what we do, see what flowers and critters you can find, relax to some theatre performances on the lawn, and satiate yourself with drinks and cakes from our small pop-up cafe.

You can even take a piece of the day home with you with some plants from the plant stall.

Tickets are £5 (online or on the door), while wheelchair users and supervised children under 16 are free. The last entry is at 4pm.
While we’re hoping for spectacular summer weather, this event will take place rain-or-shine (so tickets are non-refundable). Any money raised beyond our target for the workshop will be put towards maintenance of our lovely, listed building.

We look forward to welcoming you at Bishop’s House, Norwich NR3 1SB.

Please be aware that there is no on-site parking but the car park next to the Adam and Eve pub is very close by. If you need to, you can pre-arrange with us to drive in and drop off a wheelchair user, but you’ll then need to park elsewhere (call our friendly Box Office on 01603 620 917 to organize).

Assistance dogs only, please.

The Bishop’s Garden is home to some lovely bees who you may see buzzing around. Although the beehives themselves will be roped off, please be careful around the bees.

Cost:
£5
