Global Neighbours – An Introduction to this Quality Mark
Wed 24 Mar at 10.00 am - 11.00 am
with Christopher J Allen / Jon Moule
Christian Aid, working with the Church of England, launched Global Neighbours in 2018. This quality award focuses on schools developing pupils into socially active citizens; aware of global themes such as poverty, exploitation of natural resources and injustice. The handbook provided gives practical advice on how your school might identify work it undertakes in its curriculum or collective worship that may contribute toward achieving a Global Neighbours award. This half-day course introduces you to the award criteria, the evidence form and action plan and will provide examples of how other schools may have achieved this from one of the national assessors for Global Neighbours.
Cost: £25, Free to governors
Audience: Head Teachers, Senior Leaders, Governors in ALL schools across the county
